ornaments galore

the problem of too many ornaments...

vintage ornament wreath

homemade christmas wreath. 7 months pregnant.

fish-scale ornaments

warning: if you use pins in styrofoam ornaments, you need a thimble.

diy ornaments

Styrofoam ornaments- strips of fabric pinned around.
I love them, the fabric is scraps my grandma gave me from dressup clothes she made us as children.

oh christmas tree, oh christmas tree...

TREES!
John's fiber-optic tree
My PINK tree (garden ridge had an array of colors, 4' for only $20!)
Our beautiful first tree to pick out together.

"stockings are hung by the chimney with care"

I wanted stockings that looked like the ones my grandma made in the 60s.  I couldn't find any patterns, so I just made my own (after googling some vintage christmas images to draw inspirations from).
Stockings are flannel, but that's just because I couldn't find the colors I wanted in felt.
Images are felt. I used mostly fabric glue - but some sewing.
sequins. sequins. sequins.
